Lose the Blackberry? yes he can. Mayb?
President Obama is very addicted to his blackberry. In fact he never thought about ever having to give up his blackberry. But befor obama takes office, sadly but surely he would have to get rid of his blackberry. His blackberry was basically his sidekick, it never left his side at any time. That phone is really good with emails and things of that sort, which he was worried about, but the people had a thought of being being the first emailing president. That definately was not going to happen though. In replace of the blackberry Obama plans to have a laptop on the desk with him at all times, which would make him the first president to ever do so.
President Obama would receive a variety of blogs and news clippings, which his advisors did not want him to be sittimg there reading those all day. But somehow being the man that he is he happened to hear about everything in real time from some friends of his. Its a really big challenge for Obama not to be able to read his messages, emails and things like that, because he was so use to doin that on his blackberry. But there is a statement in this article that i do agree with and its when Jeff Zeleny said "the president, though faces far greater public scrutiny. And even if he does not wear a blackberry on his belt or carry a cellphone in his pocket, he almost certainly will not lack from a variety of new communication"
In conclusion i definately understand where obama is coming from, because its very hard when you are use to one thing and then u have to switch to a whole different lifestyle. Blackberry's are definately taking over the world though. Its a great phone for everything you need.
