The efficient use of Ipods in school

The I-pod is known as a luxury form of entertainment. Over the past few years I-pods became part of many everyday lives. A new form of use has been implemented amongst schools.
Brearley Middle School for girls, located on the upper east side of Manhatten, has incorperated the use of ipods into their classical and foriegn language courses. For parents who don't want to fork out the $299 for the 20 gigabyte instrument, there is the option of renting one for $50 a school year.
Duke University have issued I-pods to all 1,650 incoming freshman. The device is being incorporated into several courses such as engineering, language, and music. For the most part students as well as staff are embracing this digital revolution in the classroom. Some students claim "trendiness aside, the I-pod has helped their foriegn language skills.
