Computer Power: History, Privacy & Everything In Between

It would seem that the computer as we know it can be considered as a constantly evolving machine. To the extent that smaller computing devices, iPhone, Blackberry, and other PDA's can be modified to the specifications of the user.

These specifications can even be done without the manufacturer. However how did we get to this evolution? Since the first computer during the early 1900's, the computer has gone through several modifications that lead to its current development.


Computers would not only progress, they catapulted into so many diverse avenues. However, are all these advancements progress in science or a step towards the invasion of privacy? The internet is one of the greatest inventions of modern society.

Yet with viruses, identy theft, and dozens of other computer crimes that take place every day, where is the line between the progress of science and fear for personal security? Lets leave that up to the individual, in the mean time... I'll be on my Facebook!
