A Criminal Blogger
Whether its chatting with family long distance or expressing how you feel about a subject and putting it out on the internet for others to comment on, video-blogging has definitely became the updated version of blogging. Josh Wolf is a video-blogger who is the first to be arrested with charges stemming from his blog. Wolf had video taped a fight break out between San Francisco Police and protesters. Although he didn't post all of the footage, they want to confiscate the footage that was not aired and Wolf does not want to comply.
"Wolf maintains that as a freelance videographer and blogger, he is an independent journalist protected under the state's generous shield law, which protects journalists' confidential, unpublished material obtained while reporting."
I found this to be pretty interesting due to the fact that he was the first person to be arrested with charges assciating with video-blogging. It shows how these two parts of society have hit head on, the blogging world has crossed hairs with law enforcement.
