Development of the internet...good or bad
"John Perry Barlow believes that with the development of the internet, and with the increasing pervasiveness of communication between network computers we are in the middle of the most transforming technological event since the capture of fire."
I argree with Mr. Barlow, the internet is a wonderful tool to have because information is available to you with the click of a mouse and a url address. I personally don't know how i survived wothout the internet. You can find anything about anything. For example you can see a bird's eye veiw of real estate without even leaving your home, shopping is faster with no lines and also you can talk to your friends in other countries without making an 800 dollear phone bill.
Barlow feels that there is very little ecomomic room in the physical world and the Internet helps businesses and others make the money by allowing fast trades, easy lookups, quick e-mails and speedy conference/web calls. I agree with this also in that there is more room for economic growth on or with the internet because there are more people that your product of information are reaching so more of a chance of ecomomic payout.
