Evangelical Christians Attempt to break into the Mainstream gaming market.

Tom Bean is President and CEO of Digital Praise a Christian video game development firm from Burbank, Calif. The firm hopes to brake in to video game industry and grasp a firm hold. The Christian gaming market is currently comprised of less than 1%, however many Christian developers hope is to compete with in the mainstream market hoping for a similar results as their predecessors in the Christian Rock industry. Christian Rock sells around 43 million albums each years.

By developing a Bible trivia game show and a Christian based Guitar Hero like model these groups of developers hope to get their foot into the door for success their challenge is to compete visually grasping the gamer with the most up to dated and radical graphics available.

The Christian media market is a growing force online as well. Fears of moral corruption through gaming has prompted a backlash. Clearly banning games won't work, so Christian entrepreneurs are entering the market as fast as they can to provide an alternative.
