i love on star

In the article called "Take my privacy please" the author Ted Koppel feels that we have no privacy anymore and that big brother is always watching. He points out in this quote "There is no end to what we will endure, support, pay for and promote if only it makes our lives easier, promises to save us money, appears to enhance our security and comes to us in a warm, cuddly and altogether nonthreatening package. To wit: OnStar, the subscription vehicle tracking and assistance system. Part of its mission statement, as found on the OnStar Web site, is the creation of "safety, security and peace of mind for drivers and passengers with thoughtful wireless services that are always there, always ready." I think On Star is a great invention because it can help locate a person or people that could be in a serious accident and may not be able to call for help all they have to do is prwess the button or for somebody to report them missing. I think the only people who would have a problme with On Star are people who have bad tendencies. These are also the people who are paranoid about being monitered online or with EZ-Pass.
