From India With Love

In the article "a Passage From India", it chronicles the life of an Indian immigrant that moved to the United Stateswith his family when he was 14 years old. The reason for his family's migration was for his father to find a better paying job and to give his children the freedom of being able to earn a good living and have a good job here in the United States instead of India. In india they were so technologically behind that good jobs were hard to come by. Now the article suggest that:

"ACCORDING to a confidential memorandum, I.B.M. is cutting 13,000 jobs in the United States and in Europe and creating 14,000 jobs in India. From 2000 to 2015, an estimated three million American jobs will have been outsourced; one in 10 technology jobs will leave these shores by the end of this year."

This is very ironic because now because his family left for a chance at a better future while now the jobs shifted back to India the country they left. It seemed to me by reading this article that Indian schooling is much more indepth and of higher difficulty than American schooling. All information for "A Passage from India"
