blogging... good or bad for the war???
if there was any blog to read in todays world, its definitely this one. John Hockenberry speaks of the impact that blogging has on the war as well as businesses. as for the war, its interesting to see how soldiers are vastly communicating through the web even all the way in Iraq. blogging is becoming very big in the world. its a way for people to vent out if you will. especially the soldiers in Iraq. the visuals one perceives of a soldier sitting on an old dusty roof editing his blog post is quite intriguing. these are the men and women who are fighting for our country. here they are just trying to keep in touch with reality by reading these blogs and finding out that there still is good waiting for them at home. nowadays, several businesses use blogs. people use them to get feedback from consumers. often time, these blog sites cause friction between two parties. then again anytime you have people sharing open opinions, theres going to be friction. in conclusion, the blog of war is one interesting piece.

What is the purpose of these military blogs? What role do they play in the lives of the soldiers and their families? How does the pentagon feel about them? Are they an alternative form of news media that we can use to understand what is happening in Iraq?
