Is the Whole World Outsourcing to NEW INDIA???

It's like waiting on line to get into the new hot spot that everyone's going to, of course India being the new hot spot. Companies such as Chase, Microsoft, Intel and Nokia have been on the map for a while now in India. Creating thousands of jobs in India and eliminating thousands back here in America. What better way to save the next dollar then outsourcing to new hot spots with major technology developments? You can see the advertisements all over internships, career placement being advertised all over; linking from even facebook or myspace. With India playing such a huge roll in the capital of a number of companies more and more time and money is being put over there rather then here the home of many well kept companies. Its only a matter time before everyone decides to outsource to cheaper wages and better technology devolopement opportunities.
" Indian outsourcing is one of the best ways for CIO's to cut application development and maintenance costs, deal effectively with the peaks and valleys of software demands, and focus on more strategic work. "

A good post. It is not clear that the trend towards moving jobs to Indai will persist given the competition for investment around the world. The global economic downturn will also have an effect. The lesson for us is that we need to compete for these jobs by improving our educational system, infrastructure, immigration policies, and creating a market for high-tech innovation and research here at home (Because that's what our competitors are doing.)
